We offer pick up and delivery catering for functions and events. We provide grazing style options size and budget dependable. Authentic Italian meats and cheeses, seasonal fruit as well as bite size street food. Alternatively, we can provide our fresh pasta and sauces for pick up. A minimum of 10 people is required for catering. For birthdays, weddings and special occasions we offer Italian style cakes and dessert platters. Pre-order for in house dinners or pick up on the day.
In 1964 Nonna and Nonno (Dina and Gianni Pizzirani) migrated to Australia for a better life. Here, while raising a family and learning English, they opened Pizzirani’s Restaurant in a beachside town on the North West Coast of Tasmania. The much loved Italian cuisine inspired by Nonna and Nonno’s lives in Bologna and the warm hospitality their kind and vibrant personalities exemplified was shared and enjoyed well into the next decade.
In 2018, Olivia Pizzirani, Nonna’s eldest Nipote (Granddaughter) opened Pizzirani’s Cucina in Devonport. Here, in a tribute to her Mother, her Nonna and her Bis Nonna’s (Great Grandmother’s) recipes Olivia creates traditional Italian food, but with a modern twist. Pizzirani’s Cucina prides itself on providing guests with the same authentic Italian experience this family has shared for generations at their dinner table.
Pizzirani’s Cucina is now a gourmet grocery store supplier of Italian pasta and produce and Pizzirani’s Bambino food truck, moves Pizzirani’s Cucina into the mobile food scene. Pizzirani’s Bambino offers high-quality, moderately priced, authentic Italian street food. Inspired by the country regions of Northern Italy and enhanced by local, seasonal Tasmanian ingredients, Pizzirani’s will share with you their passion for traditional Italian cuisine.
